Pricing

Some people say that our rates are reasonable and some say that they are very high! Please not that our rates are directly proportional to our expenses. We employ only highly experienced and efficient staff. Our hair stylists are paid 40-50k per month. We pay about 1L as rent because it is in a prime property having ample parking space for about one dozen cars and is located in the heart of the town. We use only high quality, branded products, even for a basic clean-up or a pedicure. Rent, electricity, salaries, consumables, etc add up to about 5-6L per month. Moreover, most of the equipment get bad every now and then and we have to buy them repeatedly. Interior works get bad and we have to redo them every couple of years. Rent, salaries, etc. go up by around 7-10% every year. Obviously all these factors add up to the cost of our services.

We used to charge much less initially. Those days our salon used to get overcrowded and it was extremely difficult for us to attend all the customers who used to come to our salon for various services. Customers had to wait for hours for their turn. By increasing our prices, we could filter the crowd and the waiting period has come down drastically.   

Another reason why our rates are a bit expensive is due to the addition of GST which is 18%, as per government rule.
